Sony Ericsson Introduced XPERIA W8 Smartphone

Sony Ericsson, one of the well-known mobile phone manufacturer has introduced a new Android powered smartphone namely, Sony Ericsson XPERIA W8 with Walkman logo and it runs on Android 2.1 operating system with Timescape UI. The newest smartphone has many more high-end features like 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 3.2 megapixel camera, a full Qwerty keypad, 3.5mm headphone jack etc. The touchscreen enabled smartphone of Sony Ericsson supports up to 16GB expandable memory through micro SD card slot and comes included with 2GB memory. User can access more than 150, 000 apps from the Android market.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA W8 Smartphone stores music, videos, photos and other contents with its 128 MB internal memory and has video recording capacity. The touchscreen enabled smartphone also includes micro USB port and works in GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100 MHz or UMTS/HSPA 850/1900/2100 MHz. The device measures 99 x 54 x 15 and weight 104 grams. Unfortunately, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA W8 Smartphone price is not yet announced. It will be available in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan and India in Q2 of 2011.
